Delete your account

Groundbase CRM · Last updated June 2026

If you want to close your Groundbase CRM account and have your data deleted, here's exactly how it works.

How to request deletion

There are two ways to delete your account:

1. Cancel your subscription (automatic deletion after 30 days)

Sign in at app.groundbasecrm.com Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Your account stays open through the end of your current billing cycle, then enters a 30-day reactivation hold. If you don't sign back in during that window, the account closes automatically and your data is deleted.

2. Email us to delete immediately

Send an email from your account's registered email address to support@groundbasecrm.com with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm the request, close the account, and remove your data within 7 business days. We only require that the email come from the account's registered address to verify you own the account.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed from our servers:

What we keep (and for how long)

A small amount of data is retained for legal, tax, and abuse-prevention reasons:

The retained financial records are kept against a system-internal account-id (a random UUID), not your name or email — so the retained data can't be tied back to you as an individual after deletion.

Export your data before deleting (optional)

If you want a copy of your data before closing the account, sign in at app.groundbasecrm.com Settings → Backup & Export. You'll get a full JSON dump of every contact, deal, task, note, message, and call record on your account. The export runs locally in your browser — we never see the file.
