We do not resell messaging, so there is nothing on top. You can run the CRM, invoicing, bookings, forms and e-signatures with neither connected.

Twilio, for texting and calling

A phone number is about $1.15 a month, then Twilio's per-text and per-minute rates, billed to your Twilio account. Canadian numbers work right away; US numbers need Twilio's A2P registration before texting. Setup guide →

Resend, for newsletters and campaigns

Free up to 3,000 emails a month. Resend Pro is $20 USD a month for 50,000. Invoices, receipts and one-to-one email go through your own mailbox instead, or from our address with your name on it until you connect one.

Your AI, if you use it

Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor on the subscription you already have. Groundbase charges nothing for the connection and never proxies your AI traffic. How it connects →

Billing questions

The short version.

Is there a free trial?+

Fourteen days, every feature. A card is required to start and nothing is charged until day 15. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.

Monthly or annual?+

Either, and you can switch from Settings → Account & billing. Annual is $199, which is $29 less than twelve months of monthly.

Which currency?+

USD, or CAD for Canadian customers, resolved by Stripe at checkout. The number is the same in both.

What happens if a payment fails?+

We email you and the app keeps working while Stripe retries. Update the card from Settings any time. If every retry fails, the subscription cancels and the app shows only a billing screen until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted.

How do I cancel?+

Settings → Account & billing opens Stripe's billing page. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Your data stays, and export is available throughout. Your Twilio and Resend accounts are yours.

Is there a team plan?+

No. Groundbase is one person per account by design, and there is no plan to add seats.

Is there a sales call or a demo?+

No. There is no sales team to book and no onboarding fee. The demos on this site are the product, the trial is the demo, and if you have a question, email support and the person who built it answers.
