Groundbase

Subscription

$9/month flat, billed via Stripe. Includes the full CRM, email integration, web/desktop/Android apps, real-time sync, AI integration via MCP, automations, webhooks, booking links, and unlimited contacts/deals/tasks.

Groundbase doesn't charge you for sending — Twilio bills your account directly for SMS, voice, and numbers at Twilio's rates. There is no Groundbase credit balance, no usage markup, no top-ups. You manage your communications spend in your own Twilio Console.

The 14-day free trial

The trial gives you the full app with no feature limits for 14 days. We require a credit card up front so the transition into the subscription doesn't need a second checkout. You won't be charged until day 15 and you can cancel any time before then from Settings.

One trial per phone. Trials are tied to the phone number you verify at signup, not the email. If you've already had a trial on this phone — even with a different email — you'll pay immediately at signup with no trial period. This prevents free-trial cycling.

If your payment fails

If Stripe can't charge your card at renewal, your subscription moves to past_due. While past_due:

If you do nothing, Stripe retries on its own schedule for a few days, then cancels the subscription. After cancellation you'd need to subscribe again to use the app — and since you've already used a trial, there's no second trial period.

Managing your subscription

Settings → Account & Billing. The "Manage in Stripe" button opens the Stripe customer portal where you can update your card, change billing email, view past invoices, or cancel.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from Settings → Account & Billing → Manage in Stripe. What happens:

Cancelling Groundbase does not affect your Twilio account, your numbers, or anything you've registered with Twilio. If you also want to stop Twilio billing, release your numbers and close that account separately in the Twilio Console.

What about Twilio costs?

That's between you and Twilio. Twilio publishes per-segment SMS and per-minute voice rates on their pricing page; your monthly Twilio bill depends entirely on your own usage. A typical light-use month for SMS + a single U.S. local number is well under $5. High-volume outbound SMS can run much higher — check Twilio's calculator if you want an estimate before you start.

Voicemail transcription is the one exception: Groundbase currently absorbs that cost while we keep things simple. We may move to a BYO transcription provider down the road; if so, we'll give plenty of notice.
