Android

The Android app (package com.groundbase.crm) is an APK you download and install yourself: get it from groundbasecrm.com/download on your phone, then open the file.

Sideloading the APK is fine for personal devices. Android will ask you to confirm "Install from unknown sources" the first time.

iOS

Not available, and none is scheduled. If you'd be a beta tester when there is one, email support@groundbasecrm.com.

Features

Four tabs: Home, Contacts, Phone and More. What's there:

• Contacts, companies, deals and tasks — create, edit, notes, tags, the deals board. Custom field values show on a record; the fields themselves are managed on web or desktop.
• Phone — calls and messages in one place: the dialer, call history with recordings and voicemail transcripts, SMS threads, the scheduled queue, new messages.
• Email — the inbox, threads, compose with photo attachments, schedule send, drafts, Send-as aliases. Templates made on web or desktop can be inserted.
• Activity — everything that happened, in one feed.
• Invoices — the list and each invoice: issue, send, copy the pay link, record a payment and send the receipt, void. Drafting and line items are web and desktop.
• Campaigns — analytics and recipients for every campaign, with pause, resume and stop. Building one is web and desktop.
• Workflows — list, detail, and create.
• Time — start and stop the timer (a strip above the tabs shows it while it runs), log and edit time, and see total and unbilled hours on each contact, company and deal. Putting time on an invoice is web and desktop.
• Connections — the outbound side: post CRM events to external URLs. The inbound recipe cards are web and desktop.
• Settings — account, two-factor, password, voice and calls (forwarding, recording, transcription), phone numbers, voicemail drops, SMS compliance, daily send limit, Send mail as, booking, Google Calendar.

Not on the phone: CSV import, backup and export, the billing portal, custom field / tag / stage / template management, invoicing settings, adding a mailbox, AI integration keys, bulk texts and emails, dashboard layout, and deleting your account. All of these live on web and desktop, where there's room for them.

Data is the same everywhere. Texts refresh every 30 seconds while a conversation or the list is on screen; everything else refreshes when you open it or pull down.

Notifications

An incoming call rings the phone even when the app is closed: the app registers with Twilio for push, and the call wakes it. There are no push notifications for texts or email yet, and no notification settings screen. If you also use the desktop app, the most recently opened one rings.
