Share a public URL so prospects can self-book time on your calendar. Like Calendly, but free with Groundbase and the bookings land directly in your CRM as Meeting items with the booker auto-created as a contact.
Find at Settings → Booking links.
Your public booking URL
Every account has a slug that determines the public URL prefix: https://app.groundbasecrm.com/book/<your-slug>/<meeting-type-slug>.
Edit your slug at Settings → Booking links → Your public booking URL → Change. 3-32 lowercase letters / numbers / dashes. Reserved words (api / app / www / admin / auth / book / login / signup / settings / dashboard) and already-taken slugs are blocked.
Creating a meeting type
Settings → Booking links → New meeting. You set:
- Name — what the booker sees ("30-min consultation", "Demo")
- URL slug — the second half of the public URL (e.g.
30min) - Description — shown to the booker
- Duration — 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 90 / 120 min
- Buffer between meetings — gap we won't book back-to-back through
- Available days + time window + timezone — e.g. Mon-Fri 9-5 in
America/Toronto - Min notice — block bookings within this window (avoid 2-minutes-from-now bookings)
- Max advance — how far in the future bookers can pick (1 week / 2 weeks / 1 month / etc.)
- Location type — Video call / Phone call / In person / Other + a details field (link, address, instructions)
- SMS reminders — none / 1h before / 24h before / 24h + 1h / 2 days + 24h + 1h
Save → it's live at the URL.
What happens when someone books
- The booker picks an available slot from your calendar
- They fill in their name + email + phone
- A Meeting item is created on your Tasks page with the booker linked as a contact (existing contact matched by phone if known, otherwise auto-created)
- The booker receives a confirmation SMS (if they provided a phone)
- SMS reminders fire at your configured intervals before the meeting
Sharing the link
Each meeting type row in Settings has a Copy button to copy the public URL to your clipboard. Paste it into emails, your website, your Twitter bio, anywhere.
On / off toggle
Each meeting type has an active toggle. Inactive meeting types can't be booked; existing bookings stay on your calendar. Use this to seasonally enable/disable e.g. a "year-end planning call" link.
Limits
- No hard cap on meeting types per account
- Slot calculation considers your Google Calendar (when connected) so you don't get double-booked
